Answer by DAVID A I don’t know this specific unit, but my Oregon Scientific unit requires me to register the remote by having it rather close to the base unit when I do a reset. If you haven’t tried this, then I suggest you do so. Also, my units seem to be very sensitive to location. If you’ve moved either the base or remote, they may not be able to communicate; try moving them closer together to see if they work together.
Question by justin_I: Indoor Outdoor Thermometer – where do I place the sensor?
I have an Accurite thermometer. It has an outdoor sensor on the end of a wire that is sticky.
Do I stick the sensor to the interior of my window, or put it on the outside of the window? I put it outside, right? The “manual” doesn’t say.
Thanks!

Answer by suellenh The sensor goes outside the window but it mustn’t ever be in direct sunlight. We’ve had this type in the past but currently have two wireless thermometers – I always check the readout in my close before dressing for the day.

Describes the operation and testing of the EGR temperature sensor. This thermistor device is a direct EGR feedback sensor. It works somewhat similar to the ECT (coolant sensor) and as EGR flow goes up, its resistance goes down.
